Dear Jorson,

Please allow me to congratulate you on many achievements that you hve attaned in jsut five month.

I was very happy that you hve chagned the system for conduct of the Rotarians at the Sessions in the cnference.

I am giving below the RESOLUTION PASSED BY OUR CLUB AT THE bod HELD ON THE THE 21ST OF NOVEMBER.

The Rotary Club of Hubli Midtown at its Board of Directors meeting held on the 21st of November at Hubli Gymkhan Club premises, at 8pm passed the following resolution to be considered at the Conference for changes that are to be brought abut in the District Byue laws.

RESOLUTION:

"It is hereby unaimously resolved that a Rotarian should be nominated to only one District post at the District level at one time."

EXPLANATION:

1) If you give multiple posts TO A ROTARIAN, AND AS CLAIMED,  if only one post is considered FOR POINTS,at the time of Nomination to the post of the District Governor, then the points of the other posts held by the Rotarian will become redundant and will be wast.

2)By giving multiple posts to one Rotarian we are not following the Four test IS IT FAIR TO ALL CONCERNEd, for by holding multiple district level posts you will be denying an opportunity to a multitude of Rotarians who are capable of doing justice to the posts.
Also the multiple posts held by one Rotarian prevents him from dong justice to any one post, as his attention will be divided.

3) Multiple posts only help favoritism when awards for Meritorious Service, Service ABove Self et al ar to be recommended by the Governor as has been the case several time sin the past.
