PAPERLESS MANAGEMENT

Effective July 2012, Rotary International will start distributing the semiannual report electronically to Rotary clubs and club officers. However, all clubs will continue to receive the standard paper SAR unless they choose to opt out by updating their club preferences in Member Access. RI strongly encourages clubs to adopt paperless option to support RI's environmental efforts and save cost. To make this effort to go green successful, please ensure that your club and club officer's e-mail addresses on file with RI are current and always updated.

Additionally, if your club no longer wishes to receive the paper version of the SAR, the secretary, president, or executive secretary/director should login to Member Access, click the option "Update Club Data, Semiannual Report Preferences", and mark option 'Check this box to remove your club from receiving the Semiannual report paper copy' and then click the 'Save button'. This option to update is available prior to 01 December or 01 June for each SAR period.

RI South Asia Office receives many letters from WHQ, Evanston (which are sent by Rotarians to WHQ). These are mostly copies of letters which have already been received directly by us at South Asia Office at New Delhi. To reduce this unnecessary double expenditure, you may wish to inform Rotarians that they need not send copies of letters to WHQ , if a copy of the same has already been sent to RI South Asia Office.

With warm regards,

Jorson.
