I am sending along with

1. the Extract of the DGN Election pilot document for your ready reference.

2. The DGN selection work sheet with time lines and deadlines of RI Dist. 3170.

3. The Dist. Governor Nomination Committee Member form and Club Resolution to be duly filled in and certified by the President and Secretary and to be sent to the District Governor by 5pm of 31^st. Oct. 2012 by Regd. A/D Post.

Kindly note that the DGN Committee Members will meet on 2^nd. Dec. 2012 at 10.00 am at Kolhapur.

The District Governor invites clubs to submit their suggestions for nominations for District Governor of RI Dist. 3170 for 2015-16 (Refer to letter DGN Elections/3170/02/12) enclosed along with this letter inclusive of the resolution of the Club to be taken after 15^th. Sept.2012.The deadline for the Dist. Governor to receive club resolutions and necessary documents suggesting candidates for the office of District Governor of RI Dist. 3170 for 2015-16 is 5pm of 16^th. Nov. 2012.

Kindly note the extracts in the pilot before filling in the form and also note that it is important that every eligible Club does send in the DGN Comm. Member Form duly filled in.

The report on Voting at the District conference or Ballot by mail to RISAO at Delhi for DGN selection as per to the Pilot of RI Dist. 3170 is as follows:-

Total Number of Clubs that cast their votes till 3-9-12 is 55

Total valid votes for the voting at RI Dist. 3170 Conference is 72 Votes.

Total valid votes for the Ballot by Mail at the RISAO Office is 9 Votes.

Total number of Clubs who sent in the document after 5 pm of 31-8-12 up to 3/9/12 are 7 Clubs.

Therefore for the pilot DGN elections 2015-16 the voting for Dist. 3170 will take place at the RI Dist. 3170 Dist. Conference.

The District Governor invites clubs to submit their suggestions for nominations for District Governor of RI Dist. 3170 for 2015-16.

Kindly send me a resolution of the Club taken at a regular weekly meeting of the Club proposing the name of your Candidate on a Club letter head to obtain the Nomination Form for District Governor Nominee of RI Dist. 3170 for 2015-16.

RESOLUTION:-“The members of Rotary Club of ____________________________ from R.I. District 3170 at the regular weekly meeting of the Club held on _______________  (date) have read and understood the Governor Nominee Election Pilot and in accordance have unanimously resolved to propose the name of  Rtn. ______________________ as the candidate of the Club for the District Governor Nominee of RI Dist. 3170 for 2015-16.”

WE, the President and Secretary certify that the above resolution is the true extract from the Minutes of the Regular weekly meeting referred above of Rotary Club of ____________________.
